How Techvee GmbH collects, uses and protects your personal data — under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / nDSG) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
This policy explains what personal data Techvee GmbH ("we", "us") processes when you visit techvee.com or get in touch, why we process it, and the rights you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and respond to enquiries.
The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is:
Techvee GmbH
8488 Turbenthal, Canton Zurich, Switzerland
UID: CHE-462.857.052

Full company details are in our Impressum.
When you use the contact form, we collect the details you submit — your name, email address, company (optional) and your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry. The form is processed on our behalf by Formspree (see "Third parties" below). The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you (Art. 31 FADP; Art. 6(1)(a)/(f) GDPR).
If you book a call through the scheduling widget, your name, email address and chosen time are processed by Calendly to arrange the appointment. The legal basis is the performance of the requested appointment and your consent.
If you email us directly, we process the content of your message and your contact details to reply and, where relevant, to manage our business relationship.
Our website is hosted in Switzerland by Novatrend. For security and operational reasons, the hosting infrastructure may automatically record standard log data such as IP address, browser type, date and time of access, and the pages requested. This data is used to keep the site secure and running, and is not combined with other data to identify you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell your data.
To understand how visitors use the site, we use Umami — a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that we self-host in Switzerland (at analytics.swissqrbills.ch). Umami collects aggregated, anonymised usage statistics (such as page views, approximate region, referrer and device type) and does not use cookies or store personal identifiers. Analytics only runs if you accept it in the cookie notice; if you decline, no analytics are loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Any strictly necessary storage (for example, remembering your cookie-notice choice) is kept in your browser's local storage and is essential to the functioning of the site.
We rely on a small number of carefully chosen service providers. Some are based outside Switzerland; where data is transferred abroad, it is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards and applicable legal mechanisms.
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Novatrend | Website hosting & server logs | Switzerland |
| Umami (self-hosted) | Cookieless, anonymised analytics | Switzerland |
| Formspree | Contact-form processing & delivery | United States |
| Calendly | Appointment scheduling | United States |

Each provider processes data only as needed for the purpose described and in accordance with their own data protection terms.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by Swiss law. Enquiry and correspondence data is retained for as long as needed to handle your request and to comply with statutory retention obligations (for example, Swiss commercial and tax record-keeping requirements), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Under the Swiss FADP and, where it applies, the GDPR, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email info@techvee.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you are in the EU, your local supervisory authority.
For any privacy questions, contact us at info@techvee.com. We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements; the current version always applies.
